First Draft of Poster for 'Vanity'
We plan to use this picture for our poster for 'Vanity', this is because we have the reflection of the main character, Zac, in the window with his hand out which we can see. We liked this picture as we felt like it showed Zac's love for himself but also the distance and the fact he cannot actually "reach" the person he loves. We thought that this would be a good picture for our poster because it shows this relationship well.
To add to this, we would obviously have the title of the film 'Vanity' across the top of the picture and the actors names above this in a smaller font. This would tell the audience what the film was and probably give them a much better idea on what the film is actually about.
However, upon thinking and discussing it more, we don't think that we'd be able to use this picture to a completely good way due to the fact that it's hard to actually see the actors face in the reflection and considering most audience members won't look at the poster very intensely, they might not be able to see his face at all.

Tagline Ideas for 'Vanity'
- 'Reflecting on my reflection'
- 'Reflecting on your reflection'
- 'Mirror, mirror on the wall…'
- 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'
- 'Beauty vs The Beast'
- 'Looks can be deceiving'
- 'Dig Deeper, This Winter'
- 'Take a closer look at yourself'
- 'Have you ever seen yourself? I mean really seen yourself?'
Within our group, we have come up with a range of tag lines that we will consider and build on to use on our film poster for 'Vanity'. All these tag lines fit in with our theme/genre of the film e.g. vanity/romance, and they suggest a bit about what the film involves and gives a flavour of the film for our target audiences. We also think that our tag lines that we have come up with all come in relation to targeting different age ranges within our target audience.

Soundtrack for Vanity
This is our fellow student, Grace McNabb, singing 'Man in the Mirror' by Michael Jackson for our trailer, Vanity. We thought this song was appropriate for our film because of the lyrics and simply the title of the track. 'Man in the Mirror' sums up our film plot quite nicely we feel like and we thought this would fit in well with our trailer and how we want it to look.

Audience feedback on storyboard
This is the feedback we received from our animatic storyboard. From this, we now know that the shots of Zac and Florence at the beginning of the trailer is clearly different to the one at the end, to show the distance that has grown between the couple through Zac's love for his reflection. Through this, we also know that we need to not include as much of the films plot as Harry believed it gave too much away and therefore you wouldn't need to see the film to understand it.
